About Me

I am a wife, mother and avid reader and writer of all things inspirational. I enjoy reading romance, suspense, mystery, and historical titles. I am currently working on my debut novel CHANCES an inspirational romance dealing with loss, healing, forgiveness and love. I hope to have it released this year. I will be posting updates as things progress with CHANCES.

I have this blog for several reasons.

One)  is to be a voice of inspiration to people everywhere. I have a page dedicated to daily inspiration. I in my own life understand how important the work of inspiration is (the right kind). My prayer is that everyone would realize they are no less than the next person at accomplishing their inspired goals. There are no perfect people in this world unfortunately people feel as though they are failures because they made a wrong choice or bad decision. Their once reachable or attainable goals have now diminished into a far away ocean unable to be retrieved. I believe that as long as you have breath in your body you can still reach and attain your goals. The key is to surround yourself with positive influences. If there are none around please feel free to visit my daily inspiration page and be inspired to attain everything you were meant to.

Two) I enjoy reading just as much as I enjoy writing. I seek out fellow authors who purpose to write for the Glory of God. Many times Christian fiction has been deemed low quality with horrible plots and concepts. This is not the case today. We are swimming in an ocean of talented writers who has allowed God’s direction to lead them into success. Their stories are not only entertaining but incorporate positive messages ensuring clean reads.

Three) I am on my very own journey of writing my debut novel and the journey has been both satisfying and challenging. I want to share with my readers the experience and the challenges. I hope to encourage all to spur on towards their own writing goals and to never give up no matter what the obstacle. The prize is always straight ahead.

  5. Hiya Crystal,

I wanted to let you know that I mentioned you on my blog post today regarding your wonderful review of my funny children’s book LUCCI- THE NO SMOOCHIE POOCHIE. I’ve been working hard to spread the word, and I wanted to take the time to tell you again that I appreciated the time you took to write such a touching review. You hit the story’s message right on the head! Smoochies :0)

  6. Hi Crystal,
I have just come out with a devotional book, Changing Zip Codes: Finding Community Wherever You’re Transplanted. As a veteran of twenty-two moves, I share my stories and scripture. It’s to be an encouragment to those who have an imaginary spatula come and scoop up their entire life and flip it over in another location. I’d love to either have you review my book or interview me. Many have to move and I want to help those struggling to find community.

    God bless,

    Carol G. Stratton

  7. Hi Crystal, I have a wonderful book that I would love for you to review as part of a blog tour. We can do giveaways and possibly a Q&A. It is a wonderful book about overcoming obstacles as a minority culture. Very inspirational and well written. Please let me know if this interests you.

  8. Crystal,
